Halaman webnya lengkap dengan overview, technical data, features, accessories dan warranty. Bahkan aksesoris orisinal pabrikannya lebih lengkap dan sudah tersedia disana.

Rencana entry level WSBK 300 cc, komparasi spesifikasi motornya

Seperti kita ketahui baru ini pihak Dorna selaku penyelenggara WSBK mengemukakan wacana untuk membuka kelas baru di kejuaraan dunia Superbike (Wolrd Superbike, WSBK), yaitu kelas 300 cc. Namun belum dirumuskan secara official akan seperti apa regulasinya. Dilansir dari web Motorcycle Daily, wacana ini sangat problematik menurut mereka.

Jika halnya seperti one make race mungkin tidak sulit, namun kelas 300 cc ini diharapkan diikuti beberapa pabrikan.

Perbedaan di sisi eksterior YZF-R3 dan YZF-R25 versi Indonesia

Telah kita ketahui bahwa Yamaha telah meluncurkan YZF-R3 untuk pasar Amerika. Dimana basisnya adalah YZF-R25 yang diproduksi Yamaha Indonesia. Secara spesifikasi bisa dilihat perbedaan utama adalah kapasitas mesinnya masbro & sista.

Bagaimana kalau kita membandingkan sisi eksterior atau tampilan luar dari kedua motor ini? Yuk kita amati,

Secara kasat mata perbedaan yang terlihat antara lain :

1. Lampu sein. Dimana milik R3 lebih besar dimensinya dibanding R25 dan mika lampunya berwarna kuning sementara R25 bening.

2. Reflektor (mata kucing). R25 di Indonesia tidak menggunakan mata kucing di samping tabung shock depan, sementara R3 nampaknya mengikuti aturan di US yang mengharuskan menggunakan reflektor.

3. Ban yang digunakan. Ban milik R3 adalah Michelin sedangkan R25 menggunakan IRC. Berdasarkan release spec ukuran ban kedua motor sama, yaitu 110/70-17 depan, dan 140/70-17 belakang. Nampaknya R3 lebih mahal bannya, hehe…

4. Tentu saja striping. Beda sekali untuk yang versi warna biru. R3 lebih sederhana stripingnya namun terkesan ‘big bike’, apalagi dengan velg berwarna biru, seperti milik YZF-R6, keren!

Yamaha Rilis YZF-R3 di Amerika, 321 cc dengan power 42 PS!

Satu berita heboh hadir hari ini. Yup, tanggal 16 oktober kemarin di US (Amerika Serikat) Yamaha resmi memperkenalkan generasi terbaru R-series yaitu YZF-R3! Ini adalah kembaran R25 di Indonesia dengan mesin berkapasitas lebih besar. Berikut press release dari Yamaha:

Cypress, CA October 16, 2014 –Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. is proud to announce the newest member to join the acclaimed R-Series, the all-new YZF-R3.

Bred from the ground up using Yamaha R Series DNA the YZF-R3 features a 320cc, liquid-cooled, in-line two-cylinder, DOHC, fuel injected engine tuned to deliver excellent power and performance throughout the powerband.

Legendary R-Series styling with a full fairing gives the YZF-R3 that destined for the racetrack look and the low seat height of 30.7” make it available to a wide variety of riders looking for their first motorcycle or just prefer a lightweight, nimble machine.

The YZF-R3 features top notch components like KYB front suspension, lightweight aluminum 10-spoke wheels and a newly designed compact LCD instrument panel that displays all the important data at a glance.

The YZF-R3 will be available in three color options—Team Yamaha Blue/Matte Silver, Rapid Red and Raven––and will retail for just $4,990, with bikes available in dealerships beginning in March 2015.

Seperti dilansir di situs Motorcycledaily, YZF-R3 hadir dengan kapasitas lebih besar dibanding kompetitor yaitu 321 cc. Bahkan laman Overdrive mengatakan bahwa mesin ini sanggup menelurkan power mencapai 42 PS dan 29,5 Nm on crank! Gila! R25 saja dengan 36 PS on crank sudah cukup sadis. Apalagi bobot basah YZF-R3 hanya 169 Kg. Dengan power sebesar ini YZF-R3 berada diatas Ninja 300 dan CBR300R, serta mendekati KTM RC390 yang 43 HP.
